Re-enlisted Sept 27, 1862 at Bardstown , KY Appointed Sgt, Mar 1 1863. Captured near Hillsboro , TN Sept 17 1864 sent to Camp Chase Paroled at Camp Chase , Ohio , Feb 13 1865 being rec'd at Boulwares & Cox Warf, James River , VA , Feb 20 1865.
